Does the CPC have any prerequisites/requirements?

  • Site must be enabled with the user profile service. (The Build team is coordinating UPS beta rollouts beginning in March 2015.)

  • Retailers will need to integrate a custom UI into their site. (This can be integrated into recommendations that Omnichannel Personalization returns.)

What features will become available later?

  • Preference data feed: Our system will ingest known customer preference data via a feed.

  • Preference-based strategies:

    • People who like __ also like ___

    • People who like ___ have also purchased __

    • Hybrid - recently liked and recent purchased

    • Purchase and like - more positive

    • Purchase and no preference - less positive

  • Customer attribute preferences:

    • Sizes: Shoes, hat, dress, pant, ring, jacket, etc.

    • Beauty profile: Hair color, Skin tone, Eye color

    • Style profile

    • Price band preferences by category

  • Reporting: Reporting is being developed for the June release.

    • # of visitors that interact with preferences
